Wheatland Wranglers Spring Development Sessions 2024

We are happy to announce that a new session of Wheatland Wranglers Development will be happening at the Chestermere Rec. Center from April 23 - June 25, 2024.

The session will consist of 10 Tuesday evening ice times (April 23 - June 11 from 5:30 - 6:30 and June 18 & 25 ONLY from 5:45 - 6:45) The cost of the development session is $275 and registration will be opening on February 26, 2024 with a limit of 25 positions.

We will be utilizing the knowledge and skills of Wade Davis from Torjager Hockey and Jade Galbraith from Supreme Hockey. Emphasis will be on skill development like power skating and D zone with Wade one week, then the alternating week will be with Jade focusing on O zone, shooting and scoring. They will also be teaching the concepts of offsides and icing for the younger groups so they will be ready for the jump when moving to full ice.

AFHL U13AA Raiders

Players interested in joining the NEW AFHL U13AA Raiders for the 2023-2024 season are invited to come out and skate with the Head Coach Mark Hallam and learn more about the program at the Chestermere Arena on June 23rd and June 25th,2023.

The ice times are Friday June 23rd from 7:45-8:45pm and Sunday June 25th from 12:15-1:15pm. If you select 1 session the fee is $25.00, 2 session is $50.00

Players must reside within the Raiders draw zone to register. The draw zone includes players from Foothills, Chestermere, High Country, Hussar, Indus, Nanton, Okotoks, Rockyford, Siksika, Strathmore, Standard etc.
